Project: Cinderella Man, feature film

Profile: Cinderella Man is probably one of the bigger movies ever made in Toronto. Our main contributions were historical reproductions, and custom molding and casting.

There was a scene on the shipping docks that they wanted to show the loading of bales of raw rubber. We worked with the art department and set dec to determine the right colour, shape and size. Then we molded and cast 72 bales.

Some of the Depression-era reproductions included:

• A portable, folding movie screen
• Two weight machines
• Silver-plated door handles
• Functional art deco lamps
• A hanging streetlight
